Celebrating our 30th anniversary, Khazanah Nasional proudly presents the ‘Terokai Khazanah Malaysia’ (Exploring Malaysia’s Treasures) social media contest. Khazanah translates to “treasure” and embodies our commitment to preserving and promoting Malaysia’s wealth of natural, historical, and cultural heritage. Through this contest, we aim to foster appreciation and awareness of these treasures while inviting participants to uncover the hidden gems that define our nation’s identity.
- Natural Treasures: Videos that highlight Malaysia’s scenic landscapes, biodiversity, national parks, wildlife, natural phenomena and other videos within the same category.
- Cultural Treasures: Videos that showcase Malaysia’s rich cultural diversity, traditions, festivals, arts, and other videos within the same category.
- Historical Treasures: Videos that explore Malaysia’s historical places, landmarks, artifacts, and other videos within the same category.
- Upload a max 90 seconds Instagram Reel to creatively present and explain your version of ‘Terokai Khazanah Malaysia’ based on a selected category (public profiles only)
- Tag and Follow @khazanahnasional on Instagram

The selected winners for each category will receive:
*The prizes are not transferable or assignable. Khazanah reserves the right to substitute or vary the prizes without giving notice or justification to you. The decisions of the winners are at the sole discretion of Khazanah. Khazanah’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the TKM will be final and no correspondence will be entertained or entered into.
*All costs incidental to the redemption and/or usage of the prize(s) shall be solely borne by the selected winners.
- 1 x Grand Prize – RM5000.00 travel vouchers;
- 1 x First Runner Up – RM3500.00 travel vouchers;
- 1 x Second Runner Up – RM1500.00 travel vouchers; and
- 2 x Consolation Prize – RM500.00 travel vouchers.

Every submission or Entry will be judged based on creativity, originality and how uniquely you are able to capture and present your interpretation of a national treasure. Such works should be relevant to Malaysia’s culture, history or personal significance while having the potential to inspire and evoke a sense of pride in viewers. Your video will be judged on overall production and should hold good quality visuals and storytelling.

Once the winners have been selected, participants are required to send in the following materials within one (1) week time:
- High-definition video to be used for announcement purposes etc; and
- any other materials as may be requested by Khazanah.
